Sometimes stress emanates from the assigned job by his or her superior which needs to be finished on the alloted time despite of the time elements required is quite impossible for its completion. Secondly, the assigned jobs are not much related to your normal job descriptions, thirdly lot of job assignmenrts which are beyond his or her capacities to accomplish the same on the set time alloted. Lastly, a truck load of problems in their house, family and office.

exercise has been found to be the best way of combatting stress…..jogging, swimming or a few turns in a gym. Other than that, a job change sounds like a good idea…..

I think these are some of the general steps to ward off stress,
Meditation, avoid too much coffee and tea ,not too much spicy food , cool morning walk and also daily spend some time alone and organizse your thoughts.

This way you will be in control of your deeds.
so even if the job is unknown or needs more , you can atleast think with a clear mind .

Try Glocen. they conduct stress management workshops & trainings through esoteric means like quick exercises and breathing techniques, meditation, time management and affirmation techniques to prevent and manage stress and ways on how to protect yourself from stressed people and environments etc. i think you can try the contact section & ask if they have dvds which you can buy.

    herbal remedies
Siberian ginseng tones the nervous system and increases your resistance to stress.

Infusions of lime blossom, catmint, lemon balm or chamomile have a calming effect. A herbalist may suggest taking skullcap, valerian or cowslip as stronger relaxants than the above, or the restoring herb St. John’s wort. Oats should be included in the diet.

Perhaps the most important herb that helps in relaxation is Kava Kava. This herb is used for anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, stress and restlessness.
