    Absolutely not. Most people lack B vitamins in their bodies. By taking injections (or pills, etc) you can build that vitamin level back up, then in excess b vitamins provide tons of energy.

    It is only advisable to take B12 injections if you are deficient in this vitamin. Deficiency in B12 can make you very sick. Has she/he had a blood test?
