Can amitriptyline be used for anger management or stress?

    I’m not sure but I know it can be used as a pain killer if you have a lower dosage (10/25mg) because I use them for IBS.

    It is an antidepressant, but has also been used for chronic pain, such as in some cancer patients. I’ve taken it, and it works like a sleeping pill for me. It may calm you down, but it’s not a drug that is going to do much for anger issues and stress. Do a websearch on anger management and on stress, and see what others have to say has helped them. If it’s bad, see a doctor right away for a professional diagnosis.
